How to take the Project Module Backup

Hi i am new to the doors,i don't know how to take the backup of the project module
there is any option to take the doors database backup
Please help me

Hello

You need to make sure all the users are logged out from the DOORS and no one is accessing it.

Then stop the database service and take a backup of the data folder.

Then restart the database service.

Agarg suggests for you an IT chore of backing up the file system.

I suspect you are asking for an Inside DOORS chore. If you are really talking about a module (a "document") then you can perform a "baseline" of it to capture what it looks like right now. Later, you can open the module then open the baseline to take a look at it. You can also perform an "archive" of the mdoule to create a file containing it, presumably to be "restored" in some other database. Projects can also be archived.
